I cannot say enough great things about the ranch and the amazing people running it. This is the most family-friendly ranch our family has ever been to. We took our two daughters (7&3) and they have not stopped asking when we can go back. From the moment of first contact, they were very responsive to any questions we had while setting up our hunt. Upon arriving they were accommodating in getting settled and a game plan for our next day's hunt. Scott is a very knowledgeable guide for me and my fiancé, as we were going after two different animals. Erik did an outstanding job on all of our meals and helping out on our hunts. He also let the girls help bake. He even took the time to take my MIL and kids out to explore and give facts about the different things they would find along the way. Erik’s wife, Shannon, took the time to print out different coloring activities and cooked with our girls as well. Porter was always there to help out wherever help was needed. The lodge was beautiful and clean. It was truly a blessing to meet such a wonderful family. We will definitely be booking our next hunt with Saje Ranch.

As an inexperienced hunter I was a little nervous for my first experience. Erik and the SAJE Ranch family put me completely at ease. They spent extra time helping me to be comfortable with the rifle I was using and teaching me the best methods to shoot well and get a clean harvest.
They were very accommodating of my schedule and went out of their way to make sure we had the best chance of succeeding in the hunt. It took until the last day, but we finally got the result we were looking for! A clean shot that dropped the pig right in its tracks, as humane as could be.
I also loved that they let me learn the harvesting process and assisting when I could.
The lodge is exceptional! Very spacious and clean, with great views of the beautiful Texas sunrises and sunsets. Food and fun we’re plentiful. We were treated like family, which is saying a lot! We brought along our 4 small children, and the staff were so patient and kind. They even had themed coloring pages for the kids!

“As an experienced hunter, this is the place to go if you want to participate in some great, West Texas hunting!
The lodge has everything you need and was spacious and clean. The owners were also so accommodating and if we needed anything they would supply it. The fire pit in the back was so fun to be able to sit around after a day of hunting and look at the stars.
The hunting was great and we were able to see some very cool animals along the way! Our guide was so knowledgeable and knew the best blinds and areas to be. Our friend ended up being successful and the processing of the animal was so easy with their wenching hook and equipment.
We also had some inexperienced friends with us and our guide was so informative and did one on one teaching with them to help them feel comfortable.

I didn't know what to expect as a new hunter (seriously, the first-ever hunt) but through the very personable and patient guides, I was able to harvest a 150+ whitetail. It wasn't easy, we had to track after the shot. I was able to assist in the butchering and care of the animal and the caping of my trophy. Never did I feel like a charity case. The guides and my family have become lifelong friends.
